Crocus is very unhappy because every other animal on the Sweetpeas' farm seems to be so useful except for him. Then Mr. and Mrs. Sweetpea decide to build a pond and Crocus comes into his own as the champion swimmer and diver on the farm as well as chief protector of all the other animals that use the pond
