Summary This is the reconstruction of the last battle to be fought on British soil in 1746 between the Jacobites under Bonnie Prince Charlie and the English in a failed attempt by the Scots to restore the Stuarts to the throne. The reconstruction takes the form of television reportage employing such strategies of representation as interview and and on-the-spot reportage. But Watkins' innovative docu-drama still falls back on the omniscient voice of authority to provide interpretation and context. Also contains the prize-winning short "The forgotten faces"
