This dataset is for learning to use the one-sample z-test. The dataset is a subset of data derived from the 2016-2017 National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) and the example tests whether the mean weight (in kg) in Reception year of children from the most deprived areas is greater than that of the mean weight of all Reception-year children measured in 2016-17. The dataset file is accompanied by a Teaching Guide, a Student Guide, and a How-to Guide for IBM® SPSS®
