Series Manuscript collection Manuscript collection Summary The Richard Searby collection was donated to Deakin University Library in November 2019 by the Searby family. The collection consists of 9 boxes of mostly classical texts and textbooks used or collected by Richard Searby during his studies and after. It includes prize books and presentation copies, books owned by other family members, books owned or used by classical scholars of note, books connected to Geelong Grammar School and a set of his examination papers from Geelong G.S. dating from the 1940s.
