The report is the result of a year-long inquiry into the problem of computer crime and online identity theft and fraud. The inquiry was concerned with the incidence and impacts of a range of cyber crime types that affect Australian society. The report makes 34 recommendations aimed at improving Australia?s response to the growing problem of cyber crime. This inquiry is a timely adjunct to three major e-security policy reviews undertaken by the US, the UK and Australia in the past 18 months
