Summary Passionate UK foodie and television presenter Stefan Gates has travelled the world, sampling cuisines from every country and culture. To him, eating is not just routine re-fuelling, it's fun and exciting. His love of all things food and science-related comes together in this new series, Food Factory: Supersized.̃̃Stefan is on a mission to discover the secrets behind the mass produced items that are consumed on an everyday basis. Setting up shop in a barn, Stefan challenges his special guests to make popular foods available in supermarkets by building their very own production lines. His guests are separated into teams and challenged to create freeze dried coffee that is delicious rather than disgusting and fake cheese good enough to fool anyone.̃̃It's down to the taste testers, comprising of members of the public, to decide whose product is most like the one they buy in the supermarket. The competition reveals the crazy amount of science and technology that goes on behind the scenes to make the foods that are generally taken for granted.̃̃In this episode, Stefan challenges Anton du Beke and Jodie Prenger to make rival bottles of orange squash. This results in one drink which turns out to be consumable and one which has to go straight into the rubbish bin.
