Summary "This book is the report of an experiment in building up in children and young people the proper thought-forms for making the new ideas of space and time creative of a larger consciousness. The experiment has been conducted over a period of ten years with results that promise the solution of the youth problem and point the way to the formulation of a principle of human relativity. It has been predicted that when, in this space-time world, a group seizes its spirit in its hands and says I AM, a new entity will spring into existence. The portrait of a school which we present here is the portrait of such an entity in the process of becoming--a group self taking form and life, and growing in consciousness and beauty through the creative power of the principles underlying its being. It is painted in the varied hues of the many personalities who have given of time and self to making manifest this vision of education. If the reader will join with us in looking upon these three-dimensional glimpses as so many cross-sections of a higher reality, and will bind them together with the philosophy running through the whole, he will perceive, we venture to promise, a new thing in education and perhaps a new thing under the sun"--Introduction.
