Summary |
Japanese Global Management is about success and failure inoverseas subsidiaries. This volume is based on the author's research in around 100 foreign companies, looking into 17 companies in greater detail. These 17 case studies were chosen to reflect a variety of industries, including electronics and electronic components, construction machinery, chemicals, nonferrous metals, automotive components, and oil and gas; as well as a variety of head-office locations including Argentina, Brazil, China, Hungary, Malaysia, Russia, Sweden, Taiwan, the USA and Vietnam. Each of the studies draws on the golden rules of global business. These rules, which represent good practice in management, are operational capability, marketing capability and communication capability in overseas affiliated companies.
