Summary |
"Cycstic Fibrosis (CF) is the most common, life threatening genetic disorder among Australians. It is a disorder of the exocrine glands that predominantly affects respiratory and digestive organs. 1 in 25 Australians carry the CF gene deletion. There is a 25% chance that a child of two carriers will be born with CF. Diagnosis is a particulary stressful and uncertain time for the families of babies born with CF. This 'Speaking from experience' DVD features first hand accounts from parents, grandparents, children with CF and siblings about their experience of diagnosis and the impact CF has had on their lives"--Container |
