Summary |
Alexandra Kowalski and Monika Krause published a comparative study of dating practices under the title 'Reflexive Habits - Dating and Rationalized Conduct in New York and Berlin'. In this case analysis, they expose and discuss the messy process underlying all the apparent conceptual neatness of that title. How did this (order) come out of that (disorder)? They show that the sequence of question-design-answer is much more complicated in the reality of research than it is usually presented in methods textbooks, and that the three terms keep mutually informing each other throughout the research process |
