This volume explores the impact of expansion, diversification and revised expectations on the university curriculum. It examines the dilemmas and opportunities faced by managers; the impact upon the expectations and quality of life of academics and support staff, students and other stakeholders; and makes practical proposals for the restoration and maintenance of the academic community.
