Summary
2005 Fair Labor Standards Act Survey Report: In May 2005, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) conducted a survey on the FLSA to determine the impact that the final modifications to Part 541 of the FLSA have had on employees and the workplace. The survey explored changes in employee classifications as a result of the new FLSA white-collar regulations that took effect in August of 2004, reviewed challenges with the new regulations and assessed the cost incurred by employers as a result of the new regulations
