Summary In the era of evidence-based practice, clinicians in all settings need to be able to review and understand the effectiveness of the programs and treatment plans they are implementing. The program begins with Drs. Dermer and Christiansen addressing what research and program evaluation is as they cover some basic concepts. Part 2 is an interview with Drs. Dermer and Christiansen in which they bring to life how one can conduct program evaluation by discussing specifics related to a real mindfulness program that Dr. Christiansen implemented in a primary school system. In Part 3, Drs. Dermer and Christiansen wrap-up by discussing the importance and relevance of this topic for all students of counseling as well as active practitioners
