Summary |
Diego Bunuel is taking on the concept of 'terra incognita' - the unknown lands. It may be hard to find a place that is unchartered in this age of Google maps and GPS locaters, but as Diego will show you a country's map does not alone define its place in the world. And there are countless stories around the globe that have yet to be documented. The United States is the world's last remaining superpower and a country of more than 300 million people. Diego focuses his visit on the perhaps lesser-known region west of theMississippi River and it is here that he encounters the resilient human spirit Americans arefamous for, as he investigates the new challenges America faces. It's been battling two wars for 10 years now, the economy has not been immune from the worldwide recession, and deep political and moral divides have emerged across the country. Diego visits six western US states and meets people who are living and thriving in spite of these 21st century issues. (From France) (Documentary) M Follow the conversation on Twitter: #SBS2 |
