BAFTA nominated observational documentary series The Family UK continues on SBS ONE as West London family The Grewals open their doors to viewers. The Grewals are a fun-loving and lively family with three generations all living under one roof. For two months cameras captured their every move, day and night, in every room of the house. It is a dramatic and exciting time for the Grewels as the family welcome a new baby and celebrate eldest son Sunny's big Indian wedding.The Grewel family consists of parents Arvinderjeet and Sarbjit, and their three children - Mandeep aka Sunny (33), Gurdip aka Kaki (32), and Tejind aka Tindy (23) along with Mandeep and Gurdip's spouses - Gursharonjit aka Shay (24) and Jitender aka Jeet (36), respectively, and two dogs Rusty and Dusty.This episode gets to the bottom of Tejind's single status. Until now he has maintained a silence on girlfriends and sex but, with his mum and dad looking for a bride for the 'baby' of the house, Tejind comes clean on a night out.The family also gear up for Fathers' Day, but for Shay and Sarbjit this also brings tears as they remember their own fathers, who are no longer alive. Without her dad, Shay hopes she might be able to make peace with her mother before the wedding and decides to call her. .
