Summary |
Roxie Hart is a murderess who becomes front page news in 1920s Jazz Age Chicago. After shooting her no good lover it is off to death row with her, where she encounters the queen bee warden and star inmate Velma Kelly. Managing to secure the services of lawyer Billy Flynn and with the help of some media manipulation, Roxie hopes to escape her murder rap and kick a career on the stage |
