| Summary |
Damayanti, a wealthy patron of the arts is hosting a big party in honor of Diwakar Barve, who has just received the Government of India, Literary Award. Attendees include many prominent persons in the industry, actors and also up-and-coming writers. The one glaring absentee is Amrit - a talented writer who had abandoned his burgeoning career to campaign against the exploitation of the tribal people. As the party-goers discuss a gamut of topics including morality and social causes, it becomes clear that each attendee is filled with his or her own insecurity.
