Summary This dataset is designed for teaching how to analyse interview transcripts to identify common themes for a phenomenological study of cultural immersion experiences. The dataset is provided by Professor Suneetha B. Manyam and Graduate Research Assistant, Shama Panjwani, from the Department of Counselling at Mercer University. Data are drawn from two randomly selected interview transcripts from the original phenomenological investigation of the primary author, Dr. Manyam. Through this analysis, the reader will have an opportunity to analyse the meaning that graduate counselling students associate to the experiences of a 12-day cultural immersion study abroad programme in a foreign country -- India. The dataset files are accompanied by a Teaching Guide and a Student Guide
