Summary |
This light-hearted documentary follows three real-life fans of the romantic novels of Mills & Boon and their quest for true love. Demure Japanese housewife Hiroko yearns to be swept off her feet by a dashing David Beckham look-alike; single mum Shirley has finally found love, but her hero has a dark side; and feisty Indian princess Shumita is out to get her husband back. And proving that truth is stranger than fiction, one glamorous Mills & Boon author named Gill Sanderson, actually turns out to be Roger, a pensioner writing from a caravan.
