Summary This example introduces one-way multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) (sometimes called multiple analysis of variance), which allows researchers to compare the means of two or more continuous (and possibly correlated) variables across two or more subsets of the data. Those subsets are generally defined by categories from a categorical variable in the dataset. This example analyses whether the size of a Russian family's home and the value of that home both differ based on whether or not the home has central heating
