Description 1 online resource (xxx, 434 pages) : illustrations
Summary The primary purpose of this edited volume is to present various theories regarding the etiology and clinical implications of impulsive behaviors. Although this is not a comprehensive anthology, we hope to depict enough diverse theories within one volume to enable readers from dissimilar theoretical perspectives to obtain otherwise inaccessible information. We believe a cross-fertilization of disparate facets of psychology to be critical in maintaining the vibrancy of our discipline through our next centennial. We hope that this volume can provide at least a small dose of "cross-specialization exposure" for a variety of psychologists and other mental health professionals.
