When researchers deployed a National Geographic Crittercam on female leatherback turtles, they hoped to learn whether they fed between nesting bouts. They don't. The females did spend time trying to avoid would-be suitors - males that no one had known were in the area. POV video is from the "Point of View" of the animal on which it is attached as part of the Crittercam research program. They're presented by popular demand from those who want to see more POV footage than appears in other Crittercam videos
