Summary |
Although some longitudinal studies of lifecourse transitions have been undertaken, these tend not to focus on how everyday life changes, and the concomitant environmental impacts. The Exploring Lifestyle Changes in Transition study undertook an in-depth exploration into the way people's practices and lifestyles changed during two major lifecourse transitions, and the extent to which these changes may be considered more or less sustainable. The study used a mixed-methods, longitudinal approach by following 80 participants in four different locations in England and Scotland as they either became first-time parents or retired |
