The research project focused on creating a toolkit to measure psychological vulnerability in parents living in the shanty towns of Manila, Philippines. The aim of the study was to provide a psychologically driven measure of poverty, rather than the more usual focus on economic measurements. The research is reviewed in terms of its practicalities and the key challenges faced during the research process
