Summary A group of septuagenarians in the South Bronx, after a life of hard work and struggle, now have time for themselves. They have immersed themselves in a drama group at the local senior citizen center where they create theater pieces from their own life experiences. By sharing their rich histories and enjoying the limelight, they have found an antidote for the isolation that often accompanies old age. Here is a pilot program that can be adapted in a variety of settings. Social workers, recreational therapists, gerontologists, teachers of theater arts will find this a useful and stimulating film. A good film to show to young people to break down stereotypes of old age
