ACIAR has supported a project that helps develop domestication strategies for commercially important indigenous tree species in Southeast Asia. Tree species such as Chukrasia provide highly-prized timbers and are of economic and social importance in many tropical countries. This book shows how a domestication strategy is developed for forest trees using Chukrasia as a model species
