Summary The Libertarian Party is tiny by comparison to the two major parties in the United States, but it is the third largest party in the nation and the only non-major party to make it onto the presidential ballot in all 50 states in 2016. While the outcome of that election was a disappointment for the party, which is arguably the one most committed to the principle of freedom, there are opportunities for it to continue to grow in numbers and impact. This case invites students to learn about the marketing of politics in a dynamic political environment, focusing on an analysis of the Libertarian Party's successes and failures and making recommendations to better position it to achieve a future with greater freedom for all
