Summary |
The story of three lost boxes known as the Mexican Suitcase, which were recovered in 2007. The boxes, misplaced in the chaos at the start of the Second World War, contained over 4,500 negatives of the Spanish Civil War by the legendary photographer Robert Capa and fellow photographers Gerda Taro and David 'Chim' Seymour, who all lost their lives in war zones. This film puts the images into their historical perspective together with testimonies from those who re-discovered the suitcase. (From Spain, in English and Spanish) (Masterpiece) (Documentary) |
