The daily commute in Melbourne is worse than the one in New York. And unless we change our ways, the future looks increasingly like a series of anxiety-producing traffic jams in most capital cities.This week, the Sh*tsville Express heads straight into gridlock and discovers why the political system favours the quick fix over long term transport solutions, and why governments are terrified of upsetting the status quo.Our four budding politicians are introduced to some very affordable, pragmatic but politically difficult solutions.
