Summary |
A film about the case, North Carolina v. Peterson. The story began with the incident on the night of December 9, 2001, when Kathleen Peterson was found dead at the bottom of the stairs in her mansion. Investigating police charged Michael Peterson, her husband, with her murder. They have gathered sufficient evidence to warrant a trial in the case. Peterson's supporters and he himself were incredulous at the murder charge. At the trial, the prosecution team produced substantial evidence to show that Kathleen was beaten, then repeatedly bludgeoned and left to bleed to death |
