Summary A three part series that focuses on the life and rule of Joseph Stalin. Part 1 looks at how the dictator managed to transform his real self into a legendary hero. Stalin had himself depicted as a caring and loving man but the reality was different. Part 2 looks at his abilities and successes as a warlord, a great military strategist, even calling himself "generalissimo", however he had no training and no vocation. Part 3 looks at his cruel and despotic rule. He tolerated no other leader apart from himself
