Summary |
"Part documentary, part dramatisation, this film chronicles the sequence of events from 2001 when three Pakistani Britons, Ruhal Ahmed, Asif Iqbal and Shafiq Rasul set out from Tipton in the British Midlands for a wedding in Pakistan, to their crossing the Afghanistan border just as the US began their invasion, to their eventual capture by the Northern Alliance and their imprisonment in Camp X-Ray and later at Camp Delta in Guantanamo. Three years of relentless imprisonment, interrogations and torture follows. In the midst of this abuse, the three struggle to keep their spirits up in the face of grave injustice." -- website |
