Summary |
When Ray Whitrod resigned as Queensland's Police Commissioner in protest at corruption, his public stand enhanced his reputation as an officer of unusual integrity. Ray looks back over his early life - he was born in 1915 to a struggling family - and his experiences as an RAAF navigator during WWII. "I think we're born into an imperfect world with a responsibility for making it perfect," says Ray as he reflects on his distinguished career |
