Summary Caraline is dying of anorexia/bulimia. As a child she was forced to perform oral sex on her father. She feels that if she was slim enough nobody would be able to hurt her any more. Caraline's Story is a powerful and disturbing documentary looking at the devastating physical toll taken by the disease and how the treatments she has received have corresponded with her experience as a child--having things forced on her by adults, against her will. Caraline's Story takes a look at the social issues behind eating disorders in this BBC documentary
