As each day passed Tim grew paler and thinner and his parents became more and more worried. Tim was pining for the open sea. So Tim's father arranged for Captain McFee to take the whole family -- and Ginger, too -- for a voyage to the Northern Isles. But the pleasure trip became a more serious matter when Tim's parents were called home, leaving the boys alone with the crew. By a strange turn of fate, Ginger became the ship's cook -- although he knew nothing at all about cooking and made some dreadful mistakes -- and once again it was left to Tim to save them all from certain disaster |
