Summary |
The Essentials of Linear State-Space Systems will provide you with an introduction to the dynamical systems using state-space models in a readable, accessible format. The author's primary objectives are: (1) to give a thorough introduction to the modelling and analysis required by simulation and later design work in control systems, electric power systems and communications; and (2) to review and solidify the knowledge of linear algebra, differential equations, and transforms that typically have been studied previously but perhaps used little. Models and properties of general nonlinear systems are introduced, but the detailed analysis concentrates on linear, time-invariant (LTI) systems. Discrete-time and continuous-time systems are given equal coverage. Aplevich also provides you with numerous examples, comments, and problems to reinforce basic concepts as well as to mention issues involved in implementing the theory using modern software |
