"Aquatic biomes describe fresh and salt water enviroments where plants and animals have adapted to live and reproduce. Using aquatic examples from around the world students will become familiar with different types of marine zones and freshwater habitats, their characteristics and the life forms that reside there. How humans use and alter the aquatic world, is also described and students are asked to think about the ways aquatic ecosystems can be protected from pollution and unsustainable farming practices."--Container
