Records held in our Melbourne office are particularly rich as Melbourne was the original seat of Commonwealth Parliament until 1927. Among the unique treasures are documents relating to the administration of Aboriginal affairs in Victoria from 1860; drawings of the Port Phillip defences, 1880-1912; the Australian Women's Army Service records; and the personal papers of Lord Casey, Essington Lewis and Andrew Peacock
