The anniversary that I am thinking of here is the centenaryof the book entitled Die Traumdeutung, known in English as TheInterpretation of Dreams (Freud, 1988). Written by Sigmund Freud andactually published in November 1899, but postdated by the publisher to 1900,this book was to have a profound effect upon the social sciences.
