Notes Annalisa Oboe teaches English and Postcolonial Literature at the University of Padua, Italy. Her publications include Fiction, History and Nation in South Africa (1994) and the edited volume Mongrel Signatures: Reflections on the Work of Mudrooroo (2003) and Approaching Sea Changes: Metamorphoses and Migrations across the Atlantic (2005). Anna Scacchi teaches American Literature at the University of Padua. She is the author of a book on Melville's Benito Cereno (2000), and has co-authored a book on American multilingualism (2005)
