Summary
Getting a driver's licence represents the beginning of increased independence for many young people and their friends. Many of these young drivers are typically overconfident about their ability to drive and newly licensed drivers are more likely to be involved in a crash during the first six to eights months of driving. This DVD contains eight short films developed by young people for young people. It's aim is to help in developing an awareness campaign to address the issue of youth risk taking, targeting both drivers and passengers as part of broader efforts to reduce the number of young people harmed on Victorian roads
