Summary |
"In the Wadawurrung tradition of storytelling to pass on knowledge, the students in Grade 3/4 at Geelong East PS have written fictional stories that contain real facts about Wadawurrung Country. With help from Wadawurrung Traditional Custodians, students learnt about the Barwon River and its importance to Country. They learnt facts about how the land was used, important plants and animals, customs and language prior to the arrival of Europeans. The students also investigated the importance of symbols and colour in associated artwork."--page [5] |
