Sree is a financial investor who invested a substantial amount of money in Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd, popularly known as Coffee Day. Sree invested during the initial public offering (IPO) of the company, which occurred in 2015. After the IPO, the company stock initially performed well, but in recent years it has declined due to an unfavorable financial position. The situation became much worse when the founder of the company committed suicide in response to the financial situation of his company. After her husband's death, the founder's wife assumed the leadership position. She showed a deft hand at handling the financial position, and a significant improvement in company performance was observed. But for investors such as Sree, it is essential to ascertain if the financial crisis experienced by the company is now over. Hence, to examine the financial position, Sree intends to use statistically proven prediction models such as Z score (financial distress), F Score (Financial health), and M Score (Financial statement manipulation).
