Usually cautious about intervening in the political debate, today Liberal Party hero John Howard expressed concerns about the new tax on banks and the apparent shift in his party's ideals. The pair clashed throughout Mr Trump's campaign and presidency - particularly over Comey's exoneration of Hillary Clinton in the FBI's investigations of her use of a private email server as secretary of state. But at times President Trump has also heaped praise on Comey.
