Product development for sustainability, which aims at showing how designers integrate environmental conside- tions to improve their solutions. Product life cycle management, dealing with methods and tools to support life cycle considerations. This book is divided into four sections reflecting the above themes and will be of interest to academics, students and practitioners, specializing in environmental issues in mechanical engineering. We hope that you will find it of the greatest interest to compare your various points of view within the field broached throughout the conference.
