Summary This report describes the demonstration of several potentially useful concepts in the Command and Control Information System Interoperability Laboratory (CCISIL). These go some way toward addressing the problem of ADF staff requiring access to more than one system. A new potential capability is demonstrated to achieve a moderate level of integration between AUSTACSS and JCSE for sites that are running both systems. This work reveals some problems that can occur as a result of using remote execution, particularly for applications with high levels of customisation or integration as is the case for the current build of AUSTACSS. An ability to use either AUSTACSS or JCSE from a commercial PC X emulation package is demonstrated, and some performance measures are discussed
