When noted art therapist Judith Rubin invited her peers to submit footage of art therapy in action she received hundreds of hours of material from all over the world. This program draws from those submissions to document the use of art therapy in a wide variety of cultural settings. Vividly expressive works from children and adults affected by Israel's Six-Day War, America's 9/11 terror attacks, the 2011 Japanese tsunami, and other traumatic upheavals are shown throughout to illustrate the power of this modality.
