Summary |
Historian and former tank commander Mark Urban tells the story of six remarkable men from the Fifth Royal Tank Regiment who fought on the frontline in World War Two. Their involvement in the war spanned the humiliating defeat at Dunkirk, victory in the deserts of North Africa and finally saw resentment and revolt before D-Day. Based on the unpublished diaries and memoirs of these men, this drama-documentary brings the story of this 'band of brothers' to life. (From the UK) (Documentary Series) (Part 1 of 2) PG CC |
