Summary Who are the Richardson's? What are they trying to do? Lynne and Phil Richardson are a husband and wife filmmaking team from South Africa. How did Lynne and Phil meet? They have traveled across Zimbabwe's Zambezi Valley with several months' worth of supplies and a load of hired help to film a story about one particular lion pride at a remote spring in northern Zimbabwe. This time they are bringing their 18-month-old daughter named Libby. She was born in the middle of their filming schedule. They leave the luxuries of home life to live in this harsh environment where the temperatures reach over a hundred degrees. What brings them to this spring? What made them give everything up to do this film? Why do we care? They lost an entire season of shooting to the floods. Time is now running out. The Richardson's rely on the head tracker named Vice for where to best position themselves for the day. They will then spend hours waiting in the blind until they get any action. It's the luck of the draw
