Summary |
To celebrate the Tropfest broadcast on SBS 2 later this year, the channel is launching Tropfest TV; an entertaining Sunday night in, showcasing some of the best films from the world's largest short film festival.The 13-week season will feature the funniest, sharpest, and most compelling short films from the last three years in Australia, New Zealand, USA and the Middle East. Each episode will feature a different theme starting with love and hate, and covering other subjects including sacrifice, money, authority, sex and obsession.The theme for episode five of Tropfest TV is 'Sex'. Australian 2013 finalist A Man Walks into a Bar follows two strangers who after an awkward exchange realise picking up a member of the opposite sex can be a tricky business. Focus was an Australia 2011 finalist about one day noticing something you hadn't about your lover. A Family Affair, another Australian 2011 finalist, is an irreverent mockumentary that gives new meaning to the term 'keeping it in the family'.
